Transportation, Housing, and Economic Growth
This committee will examine the intersection of mobility, housing, technology, and economic opportunity in Prince George’s County. It will assess transportation infrastructure and services to ensure they are safe, sustainable, and equitable, connecting residents to jobs, education, housing, and essential resources.
The committee will also evaluate housing access and affordability as critical components of inclusive economic growth, exploring policies and partnerships that support stable, mixed-income communities. In addition, the committee will explore innovative approaches to economic development, including support for small businesses, emerging industries, and strategic investments in high-growth sectors.
By fostering smart growth, expanding access to affordable housing, and encouraging innovation, the committee aims to position the county as a competitive, inclusive, and livable economic engine for the region.
