Next Gen (Youth and Young Adults)
This committee will center the voices, needs, and aspirations of Prince George’s County’s youth and young adults.
It will evaluate current programs, services, and policies that impact education, employment, recreation, mental health, leadership development, and civic engagement for the next generation.
The committee will also identify gaps in support systems and recommend innovative strategies to empower young people to thrive academically, socially, and economically.
By partnering with schools, community organizations, and the youth, the committee aims to create a more inclusive and opportunity-rich future for all young residents.
