Intergovernmental Relations and Municipal Alliances
This committee will focus on strengthening collaboration between Prince George’s County and its municipal, state, federal, and regional partners.
It will assess current intergovernmental relationships and identify opportunities to enhance coordination, align policy priorities, and advocate effectively for shared interests.
The committee will also work to build stronger alliances with municipalities within the county, fostering open communication, equitable resource distribution, and collaborative problem-solving.
A key focus will be identifying ways to share resources and assets such as infrastructure, technology, and services to ensure a higher quality of service delivery for all residents, eliminate duplication, and promote efficiency.
This committee will help advance cohesive governance and amplify the county’s voice at every level by fostering a spirit of partnership and mutual support.
