Immigrant and ESL Services
This committee will focus on advancing equity, access, and integration for immigrant communities and English as a Second Language (ESL) residents in Prince George’s County.
It will assess current services and identify gaps in language access, legal assistance, education, workforce development, healthcare, and housing.
The committee will also explore strategies to improve cultural competency within government agencies and promote community engagement through trusted partnerships.
By elevating the voices and needs of immigrant and multilingual populations, the committee aims to ensure that all residents, regardless of language, status, or origin, feel welcomed, supported, and empowered to participate fully in county life.
