COMMITTEE
Health, Wellness, and Disease Prevention
This committee will focus on improving the overall health and well-being of Prince George’s County residents through proactive, equitable, and community-centered strategies.
It will assess access to healthcare services, public health programs, and preventive care initiatives.
The committee will also examine health disparities and social determinants of health, such as housing, food access, and mental health, and recommend policies that promote healthier lifestyles, reduce chronic disease, and strengthen the public health infrastructure.
Its goal is to build a healthier, more resilient county where all residents can thrive.
