Faith-Based & Non-Profits
This committee will engage and collaborate with the diverse faith communities and nonprofit organizations of Prince George’s County to strengthen partnerships that support spiritual, social, and civic well-being.
It will explore how these groups can work alongside the government to address pressing issues such as poverty, violence prevention, education, housing, healthcare, and more.
The committee will also uplift the voices of clergy, congregations, and community leaders as trusted messengers and frontline service providers, promoting unity, resilience, and moral leadership throughout the county.
In addition, the committee will assess areas of the county where there may be an over-concentration of houses of worship or nonprofit organizations to ensure that services are effectively coordinated and equitably distributed to meet the needs of all residents.
This committee will ensure that faith and community-based organizations remain pillars of transformation and progress across Prince George’s County through inclusive outreach and interfaith collaboration.
