Disability Services
This committee will focus on building a more accessible, inclusive, and empowering Prince George’s County for residents with disabilities.
It will assess the effectiveness of current programs, services, and infrastructure that support individuals with physical, intellectual, and developmental disabilities.
The committee will identify gaps in accessibility, education, employment, housing, transportation, and healthcare and recommend solutions that promote independence, dignity, and full community participation.
Emphasis will be placed on removing systemic barriers, improving service coordination, and ensuring that residents of all abilities have a voice in shaping the county’s future.
