Corrections and Returning Citizens Services
This committee will assess the current correctional facilities, reentry programs, and services supporting individuals transitioning back into the community after incarceration.
Its goal is to promote restorative justice, reduce recidivism, and ensure that returning citizens have access to housing, employment, mental health care, and other critical resources.
The committee will also examine strengthening community partnerships and promoting equity in the criminal justice system, focusing on dignity, rehabilitation, and second chances.
