COMMITTEE
Beautification, Enforcement, and Environment
This committee will focus on creating cleaner, greener, and more vibrant communities throughout Prince George’s County.
It will assess current code enforcement and inspection practices, waste management, and environmental initiatives to identify opportunities for improvement and increased community involvement.
The committee will also develop strategies to promote neighborhood pride, reduce blight, and enhance public spaces through beautification projects, sustainability programs, and environmental stewardship.
This committee will focus on the Inspections, and Enforcement components of DPIE.
By encouraging resident engagement and interagency collaboration, the committee aims to ensure that all neighborhoods are safe, well-maintained, and environmentally resilient, reflecting the County’s commitment to equity, public health, and climate-conscious development.
